Bento.me is shutting down. So we built bento.you

Bento.me was shutting down tomorrow. Bento.you launched today.

I'd used Bento since its early days. Watching it get acquired by Linktree and then shut down was, honestly, a little heartbreaking. The craft. The detail. The thought that went into it.

Nothing can truly replace Bento — for me, and probably for millions of others. So we didn't try to replace it. We're building something inspired by it, but owned by you.

bento.you is an open-source alternative to bento.me. We're in very early stages and would absolutely love any contribution, big or small, in making Bento for you, by us.
